This is a personal project I have been working on for quite a while. I wanted to tell a dream like story of one of the artist that inspire me. This became Frida Kahlo. She proved that no matter how difficult the circumstances, there is always the freedom to create. To be an artist cannot be denied to you when you choose to be. To this day she is a cultural icon, she lived a turbulent life that was full with emotional and physical suffering. What constituted the end of her life is unclear and open to speculation.
This animation is an interpretation of her last days and tries to capture the emotional state rather than biographical data.
